President Obama signed the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act which effectively ended a 2007 U.S. Supreme Court decision saying employees had only 180 days to file a pay-discrimination lawsuit.

While signing the Act, President Obama noted that it was not only his first bill signing, but the first time he had used multiple pens to sign an official document, although he had been practicing with multiple pens. close
