Bob Schieffer shared his thoughts of the 2008 presidential election. He talked about President Obama and memories of Presidents Kennedy and Johnson. During Mr. Schieffer’s introduction a clip of his singing performance at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville before the final 2008 presidential debate was shown. Following his remarks he responded to questions from the audience.

This was part of the annual meeting of independent colleges and universities held at the Hyatt Regency Washington. close
