Michael Wolff talked about The Man Who Owns the News: Inside the Secret World of Rupert Murdoch (Publisher: Broadway; December 2, 2008). The book is a look inside the building of Rupert Murdoch’s media conglomerate and the intra-family fight over who will inherit it. The focal point is Mr. Murdoch’s acquisition of the Wall Street Journal, claimed to be his most personally satisfying takeover. Mr. Wolff’s research included several interviews with Mr. Murdoch and his family members. Following his remarks, the author responded to audience members' questions.
