Alan Cheuse is the author of numerous books, including the memoir, Fall out of Heaven and the novel The Light Possessed. Mr. Cheuse has been reviewing books for NPR’s “All Things Considered” for over twenty-five years. He currently teaches writing at George Mason University and at the Squaw Valley Community of Writers.

Alan Cheuse talked about To Catch the Lightning (Sourcebooks Landmark; October 1, 2008). His novel is based on the life of photographer Edward Curtis, who photographed Native American tribes in the early 20th century. During his presentation he read a chapter from the book.
