David Bollier talked about the democratic nature that had been created by the internet. Topics included the “free culture” movement on the Internet where users promote shared information and act in a democratic fashion, individuals that have been the most involved in the creation of this digital community and about "commoners", which he defined as a person that collectively manages resources with an emphasis on egalitarian access. Sascha Meinrath talked about his research and experience in the open media community. They both answered questions from the audience.
