Calvin Trillin read from many of his previously published stories, but focused on his latest release, Deciding the Next Decider: The 2008 Presidential Race in Rhyme (Random House; November 25, 2008). Mr. Trillin uses rhyme to detail his perspective on the presidential election of 2008. He responded to questions from the audience following his remarks. 

Calvin Trillin has been a staff writer for the New Yorker Magazine since 1963 and is a weekly contributor to The Nation. His books include An Education in Georgia: Charlayne Hunter, Hamilton Holmes and the Integration of the University of Georgia and Remembering Denny. Mr. Trillin is best known for his humorous writings about food and eating.  close
