Steven Hayward delivered the monthly Bradley lecture at the American Enterprise Institute. He talked about the “Reagan Revolution,” which explored the potential for, and discovered the limits of, conservative reform of modern government. Mr. Hayward talked about President Reagan’s statecraft in foreign and domestic policy and the lessons to be learned from both his successes and his failures or shortcomings. He responded to questions from members of the audience.

Steven Hayward, who has a book about President Reagan forthcoming, has authored numerous articles and books, including Greatness (Crown, 2005), The Age of Reagan: The Fall of the Old Liberal Order, 1964-1980 (Crown, 2001), and Churchill on Leadership: Executive Success in the Face of Adversity (Crown, 1998). He is the coauthor of Air Quality in America: A Dose of Reality on Air Pollution Levels, Trends, and Health Risks (AEI Press, 2008). close
