Studio guests talked about the state of the economy and progress made by economic stimulus measures. They spoke on the 100 day anniversary of the $787 billion economic stimulus package signed into law by President Obama. Known as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), it was enacted on February 17 to jump start the U.S. economy as well as to save and create more than 3.5 million jobs over the next two years.
Guests focused on distribution of funds to federal and state agencies, as well as how the public can track spending. Telephone lines were open for viewer comments and questions. close
