Lars Schoultz talked about the history of the U.S.-Cuban relationship. He focused on describing the failures of the previous 10 presidents in normalizing relationships with Cuba. He argued that U.S. presidents have misunderstood the Cuban Revolution and therefore could not understand Cuban politics. Following his remarks, he answered questions from the audience.
