Burt Solomon, author of FDR v. The Constitution: The Court-Packing Fight and the Triumph of Democracy (Walker and Company; January 6, 2009), talked about President Franklin Roosevelt’s plan to pack the U.S. Supreme Court following a series of rulings that negatively impacted the New Deal.
