Panelists talked about the unique insights they had gained in their roles as presidential advisers. Ted Sorenson was special counsel, adviser, and speechwriter to President Kennedy. Ken Duberstein was White House chief of staff for President Reagan. Moderator David Gergen was a White House adviser to Presidents Nixon, Ford, Reagan, and Clinton. They responded to questions from members of the audience.
