Mr. Nader, a consumer activist, had previously campaigned to be the president of the United States as the Green Party nominee and as an independent. He responded to telephone calls and electronic communications from viewers who had just seen his presentation at the Miami Book Fair International. He was interviewed by remote video from the BookTV studios.

Ralph Nader talked about his novel "Only the Super-Rich Can Save Us!" (Seven Stories Press; September 22, 2009).
