Massachusetts Senate-elect Scott Brown spoke to his supporters and thanked voters for his victory in the U.S. Senate race. This portion he talked about what is next for Massachusetts politics and the republican party.

For the first time in 31 years a republican will represent the commonwealth of Massachusetts in the U.S. Senate. State Senator Scott Brown (R) won 52 to 47 over his opponents, State Attorney General Martha Coakley (D) and Joe Kennedy (I). This breaks the Democrats' 60-vote, filibuster-proof majority. close
