David Bossie, President of Citizens United and Citizens United Productions, talks about his career and activism. On its website, Citizens United describes itself as “an organization dedicated to restoring our government to citizens' control.” The organization includes the American Sovereignty Project, which lobbies Congress on issues of concern.
David Bossie has been with Citizens United since its beginning in 1992. Prior to that he was chief investigator for the House of Representatives Committee on Government Reform during the Clinton Administration. In his role as head of Citizens United Productions, he has produced 12 documentaries in the last six years. They include “Hillary: The Movie” which became the basis for a recent Supreme Court decision (Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission) on campaign financing. close
