The Pulitzer Prize winning Newsday reporter, Beth Whitehouse, talked about her book The Match: “Savior Siblings” and One Family’s Battle to Heal their Daughter (Beacon Press; April 1, 2010). The book is about a family in which one child was created to save the life of another and it explored where science can take us in the future, if politics will allow it.
