Matt Apuzzo talked about the Obama administration’s first U.S. National Security Strategy. The plan calls for a break from the unilateral military approach of the George W. Bush administration, and promotes military partnerships and diplomatic initiatives with U.S. allies. The plan also makes the safety of Americans the highest security priority, and counts homegrown terrorism among the nation’s top national security concerns. Mr. Apuzzo also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications.
