Veteran Pentagon reporter Richard Whittle discussed the history of the V-22 Osprey with John Pike, founder and director of GlobalSecurity.org. He explained the importance of the tiltrotor aircraft to the Marine Corps and showed a model of the machine.

Richard Whittle covered the Pentagon for the Dallas Morning News for more than 20 years and has written about the military and aviation for more than three decades. His writing has appeared in several publications, including The Christian Science Monitor and Congressional Quarterly.
