Kenneth Feinberg talked about the role of the federal government in executive pay. He had been appointed as a special administrator to oversee executive compensation of financial firms and automakers that received large government bailouts, as well as the special master for distribution of funds for victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks. He talked about his past experience and his new role developing and administering a compensation fund for victims of the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. He also responded to questions from the audience. close
