Panelists talked about international counterterrorism efforts and efforts to develop cooperative strategies among various countries. Among the topics they addressed were the current threat posed by al-Qaida, counterinsurgency operations in Afghanistan and Pakistan, public diplomacy, and security threats around the globe. They also responded to questions from the audience.
