Thomas Mayr-Harting and Richard Barrett talked about the release his panel’s list of individuals with suspected ties to al-Qaeda and the Taliban. The list was created by the Security Council in 1999 after the U.S. embassy bombings in East Africa. Being listed subjects individuals to a travel ban, asset freeze and arms embargo. Following their remarks they answered questions from the audience. close
