Holocaust survivor Lilli Silbiger recounted her story of living in and around the Auschwitz concentration camp during World War II. Lilli Silbiger grew up in Auschwitz, Poland. In 1939 when the Nazis invaded, she was forced into a ghetto and then a work camp. In late 1944, Lilli Silbiger was forced to participate in what later became known as a “death march” from Auschwitz. She responded to questions from students in the audience.
