Biologist Edward O. Wilson talked about his book Anthill: A Novel (W.W. Norton & Company, 2010). The author of more than twenty non-fiction books, including the Pulitzer Prize-winning The Ants and The Naturalist, his first novel intertwines the life of a naturalist and ant colonies with a struggle to preserve an endangered environment.

He was interviewed while at the 10th annual National Book Festival, held on the National Mall. The program opened with programming notes.
