Former Governor Thomas Kean spoke about the investigation into the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the U.S. and the pace of implementing recommendations made by the 9/11 Commission. Among the issues he addressed were poor information sharing among federal agencies, congressional inaction, and the changing nature of the terrorist threat. He responded to questions from the audience.

“U.S. Security in the Age of Emerging Threats” was a presentation at a day-long conference, “Cutting the Fuse: Beyond the War on Terrorism,” held in the Capitol Visitor’s Center Auditorium. close
