Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Alan Talyor presents a history of the War of 1812. Mr. Taylor recalls the over two-year war between America and Britain that ended in a stalemate but established a defined boundary between the United States and Canada and put to rest any remnants of the American Revolution. The author also examines the disregard for the region’s Native American population following the war. Alan Taylor discussed his book at the Jefferson Library at Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello in Charlottesville, Virgina. close
