Employees of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing showed their work and talked about the craft of engraving and the process of creating currency. James Brent, chief of the Office of Engraving, talked about the overall operations of the bureau; plate printer Joseph Bongiorno demonstrated intaglio printing; letter and script engraver Gary Slaght talked about the process of engraving and inspecting plates; and historical consultant Franklin Noll talked about employment practices, including the historic ethnic and gender diversity of employees.
