Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou spoke to European leaders and economists about his country’s economic problems. Both Greece and Ireland received financial aid packages from the European Union and International Monetary Fund in 2010. Greece will receive approximately 140 billion dollars by 2012 and has pledged to reduce its deficit by 30 billion euros, or 40 billion dollars in five years. close
