The late senator Edward Kennedy was posthumously honored at the Martin Luther King Center’s annual “Salute to Greatness” Award. Accepting it on his behalf was his widow, Victoria, who talked about Senator Kennedy’s legislative accomplishments and how he helped perpetuate the legacy of the late civil rights leader. Speaking first was Martin Luther King III who shared his own personal recollections of the late senator. close
