Former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown talked about his book, Beyond the Crash: Overcoming the First Crisis of Globalization (Free Press, 2010). In the book, Mr. Brown talks about the causes of the 2008 global economic downturn and suggests ways to turn things around and remedial actions. After his presentation he responded to a question from the moderator and questions from members of the audience.
Former Prime Minister Brown had been introduced as New York University’s inaugural Distinguished Global Leader in Residence at this Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service event on December 14, 2010, in Vanderbilt Hall’s Tishman Auditorium. close
