Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spoke with reporters at the U.S. Capitol following a meeting with House Speaker John Boehner. They spoke about the federal spending levels for the rest of the fiscal year and President Obama’s 2012 budget request. Secretary Clinton said that proposed cuts by Republicans that the House will be debating later in the week would be “detrimental to America’s national security.”
