Mark Stout talked about the latest on the investigation of the June 2010 FBI arrest in the U.S. of Russian spies.

In June 2010, FBI agents arrested 10 people of Russian descent on charges that they spent years in the United States as spies for Russia. The U.S. government operation was referred to by federal investigators as “the Illegals program.” Mr. Stout’s first day as the Museum’s historian was when the 10 Russian spies were arrested. He is the museum’s first research chief with an U.S. intelligence background.  close
