Representative Todd Akin talked about the three-week continuing resolution to fund the government through April 8, 2011. The bill passed the House by a vote of 271-158, with 54 Republicans, including Representative Akin, voting against it. He also discussed his views on the role of the U.S. in the just-passed United Nations resolution calling for a “no-fly zone” in Libya, upheaval in other parts of the Muslim world, and the war in Afghanistan. He responded to telephone calls and electronic communications. close
