Ami Gadhia talked about the Consumer Product Safety Information’s database. The database will allow consumers to report safety problems with specific products, from cribs to toaster ovens, and read complaints filed by other consumers. The House recently voted for a spending provision to erase funding for the database. Ms. Gadhia also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications.

Representative Mike Pompeo spoke by phone about his opposition to the database. He also responded to viewer calls.

C-SPAN Radio’s Nancy Calo read news headlines at the end of the program. close
