Rear Admiral Hueber, chief of staff for the Joint Task Force Odyssey Dawn, updated members of the press on operations in Libya via telephone from the USS Mount Whitney in the Mediterranean Sea. Among his comments he said that there is no evidence that the U.S.-led assault on Libya has caused any civilian casualties. He also reported that the coalition is targeting Moammar Qadhafi’s mechanized forces, his artillery and mobile missile sites, and ammunition and other supplies for government troops. close
