NASA Administrator Charles Bolden testified about his agency’s budget request for fiscal year 2012. The request was for $18.7 billion, with $4.3 billion for the Space Shuttle and International Space Station programs, $5 billion for science and $3.9 billion for future exploration systems. Among the topics he addressed were the placement of the retiring Space Shuttle fleet and the status of the Orion spacecraft development.  close
