President Obama awarded the Medal of Honor to two Army privates who were killed during the Korean War. Private Anthony Kaho’ohanohano was killed in 1951 while protecting friendly forces from an enemy advance. Private Henry Svehla was killed in 1952 when he threw himself on a grenade to protect his unit. Before passing out the awards, President Obama spoke about the various intelligence and military leaders who helped find Osama bin Laden, who was killed in Pakistan by U.S. forces the previous day. close
