The J. Anthony Lukas Prize Project Awards were given at Columbia University in New York City. Eliza Griswold received the Lukas Book Award for The Tenth Parallel. Isabel Wilkerson received the Lynton Prize for History for The Warmth of Other Suns. Alex Tizon received the the Work-in-Progress Award for Big Little Man. Historian Taylor Branch moderated a panel discussion on writing narrative nonfiction with two of the award recipients. They also responded to questions from members of the audience. close
