Vicki Needham talked about the United States-Colombia Trade Promotion Agreement that was signed on November 22, 2006 and the details of the pending trade deal and impact on the two countries. Colombia’s Congress approved the CTPA in 2007, but the U.S. has yet to do so. Colombia is currently the 27th largest U.S. goods trading partner, with $27.7 billion in total two-way goods traded in 2010. She also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications.
