A film summarizes Adolph Hitler’s plan for world conquest and Germany’s preparations in pursuit of this end. On September 1st, 1939, Germany invaded Poland. It proved to be the act of aggression that touched off World War II in Europe. The film includes video clips of remarks by then British Prime Ministers Neville Chamberlain and Winston Churchill. 

The film titled The Nazis Strike was Chapter II of Frank Capra’s Why We Fight series, produced in 1943 by the War Department Special Service Division, S.O.S, with the cooperation of the Signal Corps. close
