Former Deputy Assistant Attorney General John Yoo and former American Civil Liberties Union president Nadine Strossen discussed the book, Confronting Terror: 9/11 and the Future of American National Security, about the legal and civil liberty issues resulting from the response to the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Professor Yoo was also an editor of the book to which they both contributed essays. Former U.S. Attorney General Ed Meese moderated.
