President Obama paid tribute to American veterans by laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery, after which he and others addressed military personnel, dignitaries, and veterans in the amphitheater. In his remarks he urged businesses to hire veterans and called on lawmakers to enact legislation to provide more jobs for veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. close
