Stephen King was the recipient of the Fall for the Book’s 2011 Mason Award, which recognizes authors who have made extraordinary contributions to bringing literature to a wide reading public. Mr. King spoke before the award presentation and responded to questions submitted by members of the audience in the Concert Hall of George Mason University’s Center for the Arts.
The Fall for the Book festival is hosted by George Mason University and the City of Fairfax, Virginia. The 2011 Mason Award presentation was sponsored by George Mason University Libraries and Mystery Writers of America.
