Eric Schmidt spoke about the economic and political challenges of the U.S. at home and abroad. In his remarks he warned against an Internet piracy bill making its way through Congress, saying the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) would prompt technology companies to create software that would be used by other countries to police Internet content and promote censorship. He also spoke about the history of Google and the company’s latest efforts in the mobile technologies. close
