Laura Murphy talked about ways the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and the Justice Department plan to challenge new voter identification laws in several states. She also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications. She said the laws are unnecessary because the states that have passed them have been unable to provide evidence of voter fraud, and the laws will affect the elderly, students, disabled, minorities disproportionately.
