Jennifer Ratner-Rosenhagen talked about the history of German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche’s impact on both the right and left in the United States and on multitudinous aspects of American thought and culture. She also addressed the cross-cultural relationships. Professor Ratner-Rosenhagen illustrated her talk with slides. She responded to questions from members of the audience at Chicago’s Newberry Library. The event was co-sponsored by the Newberry Library’s A.C.
