Stephanie Armour talked about Obama administration plans to release new rules regarding the types of snack foods sold in school vending machines, and she responded to telephone calls and electronic communications. Industry experts expect that the rules will limit the amount of salt, sugar and fats that a school would be allowed to keep stocked. This move comes on the heels of a release of new rules by the Agriculture Department on the nutritional value of meals served at school. close
