Authors talked about their books about the history of the American West. Topics included the difficulties of writing about subjects steeped in legend, and the importance of research and of presenting in depth background as the context for events so that they can be understood by a modern audience. They also responded to questions from members of the audience. Paul Andrew Hutton moderated.
