International economist Dambisa Moyo talked about the huge impact of China’s efforts to control basic resources around the world. She used some slides during her presentation, which was followed by a questions and answer session moderated by Professor Yang. This World Affairs Council of Seattle program, held at the Swedish Cultural Center, was sponsored by Microsoft. The co-presenters included the Greater Seattle Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Seattle University’s Asian Studies and Global African Studies Programs, and the University of Washington African Studies Program and Evans School of Public Affairs. close
