Governors held a panel discussion on homeland security and public safety in which they talked focused on state initiatives and best practices regarding care for military veterans and their families. Rear Admiral Ali S. Khan spoke about biosurveillance and the state’s ability to monitor outbreaks, flu’s and other illnesses. Dr. Khan urged state governors to improve biosurveillance at the state level. close
