Randolph Roth talked about his book, American Homicide. He charted the changes in the types and rate of homicide in America through the centuries. He talked about the correlation with social factors such as the level of trust people had in their government.
C-SPAN’s Local Content Vehicles (LCVs) made a stop in their “2012 LCV Cities Tour” in Columbus, Ohio, on July 9-12 to feature the history and literary life of the community. Working with the Time Warner Cable local affiliate, they visited literary and historic sites where local historians, authors, and civic leaders were interviewed.
