Topics included the types of products the U.S. manufactures; measurement of manufacturing, the importance of the auto, defense and energy industries; and major issues facing U.S. manufacturing policies. They also discussed President Obama’s and Mitt Romney’s manufacturing policies, and changes in U.S. manufacturing over the last few decades.
